Bengaluru Metro paid tribute to the late business tycoon Ratan Tata with a vibrant rangoli art display at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Metro Station. The artwork was created by renowned rangoli artist Akshay Jalihal, in honor of Tata’s enduring legacy following his passing on October 9 at the age of 86.

Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of the Tata Group, passed away late Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for a few days. Known for transforming the Tata Group into a global conglomerate spanning sectors from salt to software, Tata was widely admired for his visionary leadership and philanthropy. He was also a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, one of India's highest civilian honors.
