The trouble reportedly began earlier that night, around 12:15 AM on Saturday, when two groups of youths from Kerala, returning from a pub, clashed. The groups had visited the pub separately but tensions flared when one gang attempted to speak to a girl from the other group, sparking a heated argument. It soon turned out to be a uncontrollable situation gaining public attention. Koramangala police have registered a complaint and seized CCTV footage, which is being analyzed to identify the culprits.

Preliminary investigations suggest the clash stemmed from a dispute over the girl, though the exact motive remains under scrutiny. In a swift response, the Koramangala police, led by Inspector S.L.R. Reddy, launched a nighttime operation and arrested five suspects from the Kerala-based gangs involved in the assault. The accused were apprehended after a targeted raid, with police noting their reckless behavior during the street fight.

The incident has raised concerns about public safety in Koramangala, a bustling area known for its nightlife. Authorities are intensifying efforts to trace other individuals linked to the brawl, aiming to prevent further violence. The arrest of the five suspects marks a significant step, but questions linger about the growing presence of out-of-state gangs and their impact on local peace. Residents are calling for stricter monitoring of late-night activities, while police continue their investigation to ensure justice.
