The 17th Bengaluru Midnight Marathon, set to take place on the night of December 14-15, will lead to significant traffic diversions in the city. Over 20 countries will be represented in the event, organized by the Rotary Bengaluru IT Corridor at KTPO, Whitefield.

To manage the flow of vehicles, Bengaluru’s traffic police have issued an advisory detailing restrictions from 3 p.m. on December 14 to 5 a.m. on December 15. Vehicle movement will be restricted on the left side of the road from Ginger Hotel Junction, near Kundalahalli Metro Station, to the ITPL Back Gate.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid delays. Traffic personnel will be deployed to manage vehicle flow and assist commuters. For those traveling from Graphite India Junction toward Vydehi and ITPL, the advisory suggests a right turn at Ginger Hotel, continuing towards the ITPL Back Gate, and then proceeding to Big Bazaar. From there, they can take a left turn to Hoodi.

Commuters heading to Hope Farm are advised to turn right at Shantiniketan, continuing via Hope Farm or Channasandra. BMTC buses and heavy goods vehicles should continue straight at Graphite India Junction, then turn left at Sumadhura Nandana Apartments, proceeding to NetApp Junction, and follow further diversions to ITPL or Hope Farm.

The traffic department urges motorists to follow the guidelines to ensure smooth commuting during the marathon.
