Bengaluru Rural MP Dr. C.N. Manjunath turned to the city’s metro system to escape the notorious traffic and ensure timely arrival at a meeting, showcasing the growing reliance on public transit amid the city's congestion woes.

On Monday, Dr. Manjunath was traveling from Magadi to South End Circle for a 3:30 p.m. meeting with a group of doctors. However, the infamous Bengaluru traffic brought his journey to a standstill. Recognizing the urgency, he opted for the Namma Metro, which allowed him to reach the meeting on schedule. Sharing his experience on X, he remarked, "I was supposed to reach South End Circle to attend an important meeting with a group of doctors by 3:30 p.m., but got stuck in traffic on my way from Magadi.
