Bengaluru: MP Tejaswi Surya to tie the knot on March 5-6; grand reception on March 9

Bengaluru South MP Tejaswi Surya is set to marry Shivashri Skandaprasad in an intimate ceremony on March 5 and 6. The wedding will take place at a private resort on Kanakapura Road in Bengaluru, attended by close family and friends.

Originally planned for Kadur in Chikkamagaluru district, the venue was later shifted to Bengaluru upon family discussions. The pre-wedding rituals, including Kashi Yatra, Jeerige Bella, Muhurta, and Laja Homa, will be held on the morning of March 6. The wedding, set in Tula Lagna, will take place between 9:30 and 10:15 am. The bride will then be welcomed into Tejaswi Surya’s Girinagar residence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and National Organizing Secretary BL Santosh have been invited to the celebrations.

Following the wedding, a grand reception will be held at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, on March 9 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The event is expected to see attendance from top political leaders, film personalities, and social figures. No separate reception is planned in Delhi for now.

With wedding preparations in full swing, all eyes are on the high-profile ceremony of the BJP’s young leader.
