A person claimed to have taken the metro from JP Nagar to KR Puram in 35 minutes

Personal2Public, a citizen-led outreach program published a video on X wherein three commuters explain the advantages of using public transport such as metro and feeder buses. In this a person claims to have taken the metro from JP Nagar to KR Puram in 35 minutes and subsequently a feeder bus to Eco Space. “I can’t believe it took  us just 20 minutes to get from KR Puram Metro Station to Kadubeesanahalli. I come here four times a week to meet my best friend, I normally have to pay Rs 230 but I made this entire commute within Rs 60. It is so cheap and time efficient,” a commuter said.

However netizens found many loopholes with the video. “JPN to Majestic itself is 17 mins, Majestic to KR Puram is 24 mins. How did the person board at JPN at 9 31 and reach KR Puram at 10 06? Even in the ideal situation this is not possible,” a user commented. Another user pointed at other cheaper, time saving alternatives. “taking the metro from JPN to KRP, only to reach Ecospace? That’s like travelling the entire city!! Well, there is already a direct AC bus from JPN/Banashankari to Ecospace,” he remarked.
