Bengaluru: Netizens intrigued by auto driver’s executive chair

Anuj Bansal, a software engineer with Microsoft had posted an image on X (formerly known as Twitter) of an auto ride he had in Bengaluru. The cushion usually seen as a back rest in the front seat was replaced by an executive chair usually associated with corporate settings. He had captioned the image as “why should techbros have all the fun.” The image had become viral garnering 204,500 views, 3024 likes and 187 retweets.

A user commented, “aur hum yahan itne din se dhang ka car lumbar support cushion dhoondh rahe hain.technique hi galat thi (and here we were, looking for a lumbar support cushion for our car, our technique was flawed),” on the post. 

Another user said, “Few years back when I was travelling in BMTC, I remember one such legend who was waiting at the bus stop with a plastic chair. Since the bus was crowded, this dude literally kept the chair on the aisle and sat amidst 50 people.”
