Bengaluru: New Year celebrations lead to tragic murder of 21-year-old Vijay

 A tragic incident occurred amidst New Year celebrations in Bengaluru. Lethal weapons were used to kill a youngster. The accused then threw his body on the roadside before fleeing. 

The incident unfolded in the 80 Feet Road in the Hanumantha Nagar area of Bengaluru. The deceased individual has been identified as 21-year-old Vijay belonging to the Banashankari area of Bengaluru. It is being suspected that Vijay’s murder was orchestrated by his friends. They were allegedly drunk. The incident is believed to have unfolded inside an auto. 

Vijay had arrived to celebrate the New Year along with his friends. They are said to have become drunk during the celebration. Before they left to their respective homes, a fight is believed to have ensued among them. The fight is said to have intensified inside an auto. One of Vihay’s friends is believed to have stabbed him with a knife in the chest. 

They are alleged to have thrown Vijay’s body near the Srinivasa Nagar Bus Stop before fleeing. Vijay is said to have died on account of severe bleeding. 

The incident occurred within the bounds of the Hanumantha Nagar police station. The police investigated the case after reaching the spot. A case has been filed with regard to this incident.
