The victims, Shubam (7) and Sia (3), were reportedly killed using a rope. Their mother, who has a neck injury, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Authorities are investigating whether her injury was self-inflicted or caused by someone else. The father, an auto driver, reported the incident after rushing his wife and children to the hospital around 10:30 p.m.
Preliminary findings suggest the crime occurred between 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. CCTV footage shows the father arriving home after the incident. He alleges that his wife, frustrated by ongoing marital disputes and depression, committed the murders.
The mother, however, denies the accusation and claims her husband is responsible for the children’s deaths. Police are analyzing technical evidence and reviewing witness statements from neighbors and relatives, who have highlighted persistent marital discord within the family.
The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities examining all possible angles to establish the truth. Further updates are expected as more evidence comes to light.
