Bengaluru: Pavithra Jayaram’s husband Chandrakanth commits suicide after her death in road accident

The death of actress Pavithra Jayaram in a road accident had shocked the entire country. The second husband of Pavithra, Chandrakanth was deeply distressed as he was with her in the car during her final moments. He had even penned an emotional note on Instagram following her death. 

Things have however taken a turn for the worse. Chandrakanth had not visited the flat in which he stayed with Pavithra for a while after her death. On 17th May, he visited the flat in relation to the insurance policy of Pavithra. He switched off his phone as soon as left his house. He was unreachable. His friends did not have any clue about his whereabouts. When his friends reached the flat, he was found hanging from the ceiling. He had committed suicide.

The two of them had occupied the flat for the last 6 months. Pavithra’s children were also staying in the apartment. His family members are totally shocked at this development. “He told me that there was some insurance related work to be done. He stated that he was alone. I called him once every hour. He did not receive it. I assumed that he was busy. I became suspicious when his friends did not have any idea about his whereabouts. When they went to the apartment, they saw his body hanging from the windows,” his sister said in an interaction with NewsFirst.
