Goyal urged Karnataka’s Industries Minister M B Patil to establish multiple industrial hubs across the state under the 100 new industrial zones announced in the Union Budget. He suggested integrating these efforts with the PM MITRA Park in Kalaburagi, a Centre-state joint venture.

The minister called for a focus on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, space technology, and biotechnology to boost Karnataka’s technological leadership. He assured that the Centre would support Karnataka in expanding its global footprint.

Highlighting the upcoming industrial smart city in Tumakuru, Goyal stated that the first phase, covering 1,736 acres, is underway and expected to conclude next year. He also urged Karnataka to develop Hampi into a premier tourist destination under the Centre’s new tourism initiative.

Goyal projected India’s exports to reach $800 billion this year, with Karnataka playing a key role. He underscored initiatives to enhance business transparency and attract foreign investment, citing the success in reducing toy imports and increasing exports. Additionally, he emphasized developing FinTech, media, gaming, and solar energy as key growth sectors for Karnataka’s future.
