According to police, Nikita Singhania is the prime accused (A1) in the case, while her mother (A2) and brother (A3) have also been implicated. Subash’s suicide, which sparked nationwide outrage, reportedly stemmed from emotional distress caused by ongoing legal battles with his wife over divorce and child custody.

Investigators revealed that the Singhania family had demanded ₹3 crore to withdraw legal cases against Subash and an additional ₹30 lakh to grant him visitation rights to see his son. These demands allegedly pushed Subash into severe distress, leading to his tragic decision.

The Bengaluru Police, who had visited the accused’s hometown in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, as part of their probe, registered an FIR implicating the family. Meanwhile, the accused have sought anticipatory bail, claiming innocence.

This high-profile case continues to unfold, raising critical questions about legal and familial pressures contributing to mental health challenges. Further investigations are underway.
