In a formal communication to parents, the school’s Education Council acknowledged the issue and its impact on children’s travel. The letter mentioned that the damaged road not only poses a risk to students’ physical well-being but also causes considerable stress for parents and transport staff during school hours.
The Council stated that the matter has already been brought to the attention of government authorities. A request has been submitted to the local municipal officials, urging them to prioritize and expedite the repair work. The school emphasized that addressing the potholes is essential to ensure the safety of young commuters.
They further appealed to parents to extend their support by independently approaching the local civic authorities to increase pressure and demand quick action. The school hopes that with collective effort and administrative cooperation, the road will soon be restored to a safe condition.
This situation is yet another reminder of how urban infrastructure issues directly affect school-going children. With the monsoon already set, the urgency to repair these roads becomes even more critical.
