The prank was enacted in the purple line

A man pretended to have a bout of fits

    Comuters complained against the man

In a video that has now gone viral, a passenger travelling from Vijayanagar to Majestic in a metro coach appeared to have a bout of hits while holding onto the hand grips. The man seemed to indicate that there is a defect in the hand grip. In the video that was published on the incident, a dialogue from a movie was also added. “Hengidhe opening thrillu,” (How is the opening thrill?) the dialogue stated. This caused panic among other commuters although a few saw the funny side of it. The commuters are said to have filed a complaint against the individual.

He repeated the same prank in the escalator with elderly people around. The prankster has been identified as Prank_Praju. The police are on the lookout for him. The major problem with such pranks have been identified as the potential of the “the boy who cried wolf” perception it might create among people hindering timely assistance in case someone goes through a similar crisis in a public space that may have long term impacts on their health.
