Pertaining to the alleged “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans which were raised after the victory of Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Dr Syed Naseer Hussain in the Rajya Sabha election, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled a report from a private forensic lab. The BJP has claimed that the report by the private lab asserts that slogans in support of Pakistan were indeed uttered on the occasion.
Minister for IT/BT and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj in the Government of Karnataka Priyank Kharge has now hit back at the BJP for this stance. “I too can furnish a random report from a private organisation. I too can make it public. This amounts to betrayal of the country in its true sense. Why do they want to create an environment of terror in society,” Kharge expressed.
The State government is awaiting the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report. This to ensure that there is no discrepancy in the action that will be taken with regard to this incident. “I don’t know which video BJP has sent to the lab. Whether they have 3 footages or a 100 remains unclear. The Home Ministry must provide a report on this, not the Samvaadha Foundation. This is irresponsible and shameless conduct by the BJP,” Kharge added.
