Forecasts indicate that such rain can be expected for the next seven days.
Whirlwinds in the Bay of Bengal are reported as the cause for this rain. The Karavalli region of Karnataka is predicted to receive more rain. On May 143th and May 14th, the entire state could witness heavy rainfall. In light of this prediction, it is advisable for people in Bengaluru to carry a raincoat with them at all times while venturing outside.
