After five days, perpetrator who escaped with this cash arrested
Pramod, a resident of Chandra Layout in Bengaluru, had meticulously stashed Rs 94 lakh in a cardboard container for a property transaction. He accidentally placed the cash on a nearby bike and forgets this cash on this bike while he was busy with carrying documents for a property purchase.
After five days the perpetrator who escaped with this cash was apprehended by Bengaluru police.
The city police eventually arrested the individual who had absconded with the Rs 94 lakh cash. Pramod had momentarily left the money on a bike parked adjacent to his apartment as he hurriedly got into his car, unknowingly leaving it behind. He proceeded to his friend’s residence with only the property documents in hand.
Upon realizing his mistake, Pramod promptly returned home from his friend’s place. To his dismay, the bike was no longer at the scene. He promptly reported the incident to the Chandra Layout police station.
The bike’s owner, Varun Gowda, discovered the cardboard box filled with Rs 500 currency notes and transported the money to a residence in Srinagar near Banashankari. For five days, Varun harbored the money without a clear plan, considering using it to purchase a second-hand Innova car, according to police sources.
Authorities managed to apprehend Varun and successfully recovered the money following a thorough examination of multiple CCTV recordings in the vicinity stretching from Chandra Layout to Banashankari.
