S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University in Bengaluru has become the first Indian institution to adopt an industry-integrated postgraduate programme powered by IBM, offering a significant boost to tech-driven education in India.

The initiative is aligned with IBM’s Q²D (Quantum Quotient Decode) model and begins with the launch of the IBM Global Entrance Test (GET), which will serve as the qualifying exam for select postgraduate courses for the academic year 2025–26.

The entrance test is designed for students aspiring to pursue MBA, MCA, and MSc in Computer Science in partnership with selected Indian universities. Through this initiative, students will have access to advanced technologies and hands-on learning experiences designed to meet industry standards.

At the heart of the curriculum are key components such as AI tools, cloud lab training, live industry projects, mentorship by IBM professionals, and structured internship opportunities. The programme focuses on preparing students with practical and scalable tech skills while promoting personalised learning based on their aptitude and reasoning capabilities assessed through GET.

S-VYASA will host these IBM-integrated programmes at its Kengeri campus, marking a shift towards greater collaboration between academia and industry in Indian higher education. While IBM contributes to the technological framework and real-world relevance of the programme, academic delivery and evaluation remain fully under university control. This model aims to create industry-ready graduates with deep exposure to emerging technologies.
