The heinous act came to light after the victim's parents filed a formal complaint with the police. Balaji reportedly exploited his position of trust, using the guise of coaching to perpetrate the crime. Following his arrest, a subsequent check of his mobile phone revealed a disturbing pattern of abuse, indicating that he had allegedly sexually abused several other minor girls at a sports training center.
The Hulimavu police have swiftly taken the accused into custody for a period of eight days to facilitate a thorough investigation. Furthermore, authorities have recorded the statements of the other minor victims who were identified through the evidence found on Balaji's phone. This development suggests the scale of the abuse may be far wider than initially reported, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The incident has ignited outrage and calls for stricter background checks and monitoring of individuals working with children in sports and educational institutions. Authorities have assured the public that a comprehensive investigation is underway and that justice will be served to all the victims involved in this deeply disturbing case. The focus now remains on providing support and counseling to the young survivors as they navigate the trauma they have endured.
