Reports have highlighted that litter, including garbage bags and plastic waste, is being thrown on the streets not just at night but also during early mornings. Despite multiple complaints made to BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) officials, no strict action has been taken.

Frustrated by the inaction, the local community took matters into their own hands. Holding placards with strong messages, they marched through the streets, urging people not to dispose of waste in public places. The residents’ rally attracted considerable support, uniting the neighborhood in a shared effort to tackle the litter problem.

The campaign emphasized the importance of responsible waste disposal and encouraged everyone to keep the streets clean. The residents also called for support for street cleaning workers and insisted that BBMP take immediate action against those who litter.

This community-led initiative aims to instill a sense of responsibility among locals and highlight the need for a cleaner and healthier environment.
