This year’s theme is “Transform”, celebrating short films that capture stories of change, evolution, and transformation. The festival has attracted over 3,000 submissions, out of which 300 films from India and abroad have been carefully selected for screening.

The offline screenings will take place at Suchitra Film Society, Indian Institute of World Culture (Basavanagudi), Max Muller Bhavan (Indiranagar), and RV University (Mysuru Road) from August 14 to 17. Meanwhile, online screenings will be available from August 7 to 17.

A unique highlight is that films selected under the International, Indian, and Animation competitive categories are eligible for Oscar nomination consideration, giving rising talents a potential shot at global recognition.

The festival will also feature specialized competitive sections such as Karnataka, Women, and a special Queer Corner for inclusive storytelling. Tickets for the event are priced between Rs 400 and Rs 500 for the full three-day pass.
