Bengaluru: Sites to be allocated in Dr Shivarama Karanth Layout

This is some good news for you Bengalureans!

It’s been decided that sites in Shivarama Karanth Layout will be distributed. The layout is in Bengaluru North (Hesaraghatta and Yelahanka). It has been carved on 3546 acres of land. 

Presently, as many as 34000 sites are also being constructed to be given away to poor and middle-class families. 

As per the Supreme Court order, the first preference will be given to such people who had lost their sites. 

Apart from this, as many as 12000 sites will be distributed to the general public.

As far as the sites are concerned, the BDA administrative committee will decide on it. 

The information was given by Justice Chandrashekar, who is also overseeing the issue.
