Bengaluru: Dance teacher and 2 others gangrape student several times

This incident occurred in the Kodigehalli area of Bengaluru. An individual named Andy George has been identified as the main accused in the case. He was employed as a dance teacher in a private educational institution. The victim and Andy George become connected via social media. An intimate relationship ensued. Andy apparently recorded these intimate moments. He later started using this recorded footage to threaten and blackmail the victim to comply with putting herself in further compromising situations. She tried to distance herself but he was very persistent with his pursuit of the victim. He invited his friends over to his house where they too got involved in the rape and assault of the woman. 

However the woman gathered courage and approached the Kodigehalli police over this issue. The police plunged into action upon receiving the complaint. They have arrested Andy and his friends Santosh and Sashi who were also involved in the abuse of the victim. They have seized a pen drive and mobile phones from the accused. They expect to uncover the evidence essential for persecution from these devices. Given the heinous and organised nature of the crime, the police suspect that there may be many other victims that were lured by Andy George. They are conducting investigations on these lines.
