A total of 136 BMTC employees are set to benefit from this special pension facility. The BMTC Accounts Department has taken proactive steps to facilitate this process, calling a meeting to discuss the submission of pension applications and to provide essential information regarding the scheme. This meeting is intended to ensure that all eligible employees are well-informed and can smoothly transition into the pension scheme.

The BMTC has issued a formal announcement requesting all eligible employees to attend the meeting after their working hours. This will allow employees to gain a clear understanding of the application procedure and the benefits they are entitled to under the "Prayas" Scheme.

The introduction of this special pension scheme underlines the government's commitment to supporting its workforce and ensuring their well-being post-retirement. The BMTC employees have welcomed this move, expressing gratitude for the government's recognition of their years of dedicated service.
