The Kannada dubbed version of 12th Fail, a film based on the life of Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife, Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Shraddha Joshi, would be broadcasted to government school students in the region of Malleshwaram in Bengaluru in the Kaveri Cinema located near Sadashivnagar. Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Malleshwaram, Ashwath Narayan made an announcement pertaining to this on X (formerly known as Twitter). The screenings would begin from 2PM. 


KRG studios is handling the distribution of the Kannada dubbed version of the film across the state. The film has earned Rs 23 crore in its first 11 days of release across languages. There has been a steady growth in its collection owing to positive word of mouth. 12th fail has also proven to be a tough competitor to Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas. 

Sandalwood actor-cum-director Rishabh Shetty was also completely bowled over by the film. “This film upholds an important lesson. No matter how deep we fall , restarting life gives us a different dimension.  Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films, I am truly inspired by this storytelling,” he posted on X.  Such an inspiring tale can serve as motivation for youngsters explaining the reason for the screening.
