MetroRide Kids, a Bengaluru-based startup, has unveiled a specialized app-based transportation service exclusively for children aged 5 to 16. The service, which recently debuted in Hyderabad, aims to address the challenges working parents face in securing safe and dependable transport for their kids. The company plans to expand operations to Bengaluru within three months.

Designed to offer a reliable alternative to overcrowded school vans and concerns over reckless driving, MetroRide Kids prioritizes safety and convenience. The service caters to school commutes, coaching centers, and extracurricular activities.

Key safety measures include hiring trained drivers, equipping vehicles with CCTV cameras and GPS tracking systems, and deploying electric vehicles for eco-friendly operations. MetroRide Kids also seeks active collaboration with parents to ensure a tailored and secure experience.

The initiative responds to a growing demand for reliable child-focused transport services, particularly in urban areas where parents juggle demanding schedules. With instances of unsafe practices in traditional school transport on the rise, the startup aims to provide peace of mind to families.

MetroRide Kids positions itself as India's first app-based transport service dedicated to children, offering a model that could transform how families manage daily logistics. As the service gains traction in Hyderabad, its forthcoming launch in Bengaluru is expected to further ease commuting woes for parents and young passengers alike.
