The Bengaluru Studio Potters Market is currently underway, providing a platform for studio potters from various corners of India to showcase their artistic creations.
This vibrant event, taking place at Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru, will continue until December 10, welcoming visitors from 10:30 am to 7 pm.
India has witnessed a burgeoning interest in studio pottery, ranging from short hobby classes to comprehensive year-long courses, indicating a thriving pottery scene. Commemorating this surge in passionate potters, the second edition of the Bengaluru Studio Potters Market has kicked off, drawing attention not only from Bengaluru, but also featuring the works of 36 artists hailing from cities like Pune, Mumbai, Auroville, Bhopal, and Delhi.
The exhibition boasts an eclectic array of artistic expressions, including miniature art, wood-fired teapot sets, ceramic flowers, toys, and more. Among the participating artists is Ajay A, specializing in miniature pottery and presenting over 10 miniature animals, wall hangings, and magnets.
Swati Jain, a ceramic artist based in Bengaluru, adds her unique touch to the event with signature wall art and décor pieces. Renowned for her commissioned handmade art for residences and commercial spaces, Jain represents the diverse talents showcased at the market.
This year's Bengaluru Studio Potters Market stands as an exclusive gathering, uniting artists from across India and presenting a broad spectrum of work, spanning from traditional pottery to contemporary designs. The event serves as a bridge connecting these artists with a wider audience appreciating diverse forms of art.
