In a heartwarming display of selflessness and compassion, the family of a young Bengaluru taxi driver breathed new life into five individuals through the gift of organ donation.

Madhan Kumar SV, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on September 24, donated his organs. This noble act of generosity has not only saved lives, but also left an indelible mark on the community.

Madhan Kumar's liver and left kidney were donated at Sparsh Hospital in Yeshwanthpur, while his right kidney was donated to Manipal Hospital HAL. His heart now beats within another at Jayadeva Hospital, and his corneas bring sight to those in need at Narayana Nethralaya. The profound impact of this collective decision will resonate in the lives of these organ recipients and their families forever.

The courageous gesture was made possible by Madhan Kumar's grieving yet compassionate parents, Vijay Kumar SV and Laxmi Devi, along with his brother Manjunath SV, who reside in Somasagara Thanugundla in Nelamangala Taluk.

Their unwavering support and willingness to donate Madhan Kumar's organs, in accordance with organ donation protocols overseen by the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO), have exemplified the boundless power of humanity's capacity for kindness and empathy.

Through their selfless act, this family has not only honored the memory of their beloved Madhan Kumar SV, but also reaffirmed the enduring spirit of human solidarity and the hope that springs from the darkest of moments.
