The Bengaluru Tech Summit, inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, witnessed the unveiling of the much-anticipated ‘Bengaluru Rising Report’. This comprehensive report offers a detailed analysis of Bengaluru’s evolution, comparing it with India’s other top cities while exploring the city's future prospects, successes, and challenges. Supported by diverse data sources such as government records, digital platforms, global datasets, regulatory insights, and satellite imagery, the visually-rich report features over 170 charts, capturing both the essence and intricate workings of this dynamic metropolis.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, present at the summit alongside IT Minister Priyank Kharge, emphasized the need to equip Karnataka’s youth with cutting-edge skills for the state to remain a technological frontrunner. He highlighted Bengaluru’s remarkable growth driven by contributions from both public and private sectors but acknowledged pressing challenges, particularly traffic congestion. Shivakumar assured participating tech leaders and companies that the government is committed to addressing these hurdles and offering world-class infrastructure to sustain Bengaluru’s role as a global tech hub.
