Bengaluru terror plot: 42 live bullets, 4 grenades among explosives recovered

The Central Crime Branch (CCB), Bengaluru has arrested 5 suspected terrorists. They had planned to carry out massive bomb blasts across the city, targeting crowded places like bus stations etc. 

 They were apprehended by the CCB sleuths from their rented house in Sultanpalya. Here is a list of all explosives the police have confiscated: 

1. 4 walkie talkies
2. 7 country made pistol 
3. 42 live bullets 
4. Ammunition 
5. 2 daggers 
6. 2 satellite phones 
7. 4 grenades

Bengaluru heaves a sigh of relief as the cops have thwarted a major terror attack, reminiscent of the 2008 serial attacks that had rocked the city. The mastermind of the planned attack, as revealed by the police commissioner, is not in the country.
