Bengaluru: Thieves break into gold company secured by 3 iron gates

A gold company in Bengaluru was robbed following an intrusion. The Beneka Gold Company is located near the Netkalappa Circle. Three iron gates secured by locks were broken into by the thieves. The robbery took place late at night. 250 grams of gold along with Rs 1.8 lakh in cash was stolen. The company is located within walking distance of the Basavanagudi Police Station. 

On February 14th, it was business as usual for the Beneka Gold Company. The company is involved in the purchase of gold items from customers. The office was locked by an employee before he left for his home. The thieves broke into the office at midnight. After they committed the robbery they also ensured that the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera was under their possession. The Beneka Gold Company falls under the jurisdiction of the Basavanagudi Police Station.
