Thiefs generally flex with their stolen item after having gotten away with their crime. But a thief with a unique modus operandi has been nabbed. He would move around in a high-end car and would be well dressed for the occasion before stealing tender coconuts and fleeing from the location. However, he is now inside a police lockup.

The thief has been identified as Mohan. Mohan would operate in the Hanumantha Nagar region within the limits of the Girinagar police station. He would then sell the same tender coconuts at a lower price in the same area. The Girinagar police have now gotten hold of Mohan.

Mohan arrived in Bengaluru in search of a livelihood. He however opted to experiment with robbery as his vocation. He would travel in a Wagon-R car around the Mankuthimma park in Bengaluru.

Mohan would choose a new target for his tender coconut robbery each time. The police after having arrested Mohan have recovered a Wagon-R worth Rs 8.5 lakh, a Bullet bike and 90 tender coconuts.
