Bengaluru: Timer used in Rameshwaram Cafe blast was purchased online

An interesting development has taken place in the investigation of the Rameshwaram Cafe blast. It has been uncovered that the timer used in the bomb has been purchased online. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) investigation has led to the uncovering of this fact. The CCB has been conducting investigations on multiple fronts over the last 3 days. There are however major gaps to be filled. 

The timer which is sold online is apparently curated for domestic purposes. It is used as a switch for the children's bedroom. The lights are also linked to switches present inside the aquarium. The CCB visited some houses wherein this timer was purchased to examine the device. Some of those who made the purchase were interrogated before being let off.
