Bengaluru will play host to Karman Week 2025, a premier international gathering of space leaders, set to take place in October. Organised by the Karman Project, this exclusive annual event brings together 15 influential figures from across the global space sector — including astronauts, agency chiefs, and top industry executives — to foster cooperation and innovation in the field.

This year’s delegation includes high-profile representatives from Axiom Space, Airbus, the Saudi Space Agency, the UK Space Agency, and the Kenya Space Agency. The selection reflects a diverse blend of public and private stakeholders, underscoring the increasingly collaborative nature of space exploration and technology.

Karman Week 2025 aims to spotlight India’s rising prominence in space technology, particularly its leadership in public-private partnerships and space-based climate solutions. The programme will feature in-depth engagements with key players in India’s space ecosystem, as well as cultural immersions and a leadership retreat focused on nature and sustainability.

The event is being hosted by Bengaluru-based space-tech company SatSure. It marks the first time the summit will be held in India, following previous editions in the UAE, France, Maldives, and Bulgaria.

Karman Week 2025 is expected to showcase India’s growing capabilities in space data, artificial intelligence, and satellite-driven applications addressing global challenges such as agriculture, climate change, and sustainable development. The choice of Bengaluru reflects the city’s emergence as a global hub for mission-driven space innovation.
