Bengaluru is set to revolutionize its traffic navigation system with the introduction of a dedicated app, as per reports. In a strategic move to alleviate congestion and streamline commuting, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with technology company Mappls MapmyIndia.
The bespoke navigation app tailored for Bengaluru promises real-time updates for commuters, aiming to guide them efficiently to their destinations amidst the city’s bustling streets. With features designed to minimize travel time, the app will offer alternative routes to avoid traffic snarls, along with timely alerts on congestion, road closures, and road conditions.

Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar, earlier underscored the city’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient traffic management.
