A notable moment of the night came from Hyderabad, where a customer set a record with a ₹2,500 tip—the highest of the day. Sharing the highlights on X, Dhindsa praised the dedication of delivery partners who worked tirelessly on December 31 to ensure timely deliveries.
Swiggy also chimed in on the festivities, humorously suggesting Bengaluru’s proactive planning for the celebrations. “Bangalore leading till now with most orders, ye koi MBA type log lag rahe hain, abhi se planning start kardi hai,” the food delivery platform posted on X.
In a remarkable gesture, Dhindsa took to the streets of Gurugram to personally deliver orders, showcasing solidarity with his workforce. His deliveries marked the debut of Blinkit’s new fleet of electric vehicles, emphasizing the company’s commitment to sustainable practices.
The night underscored the vital role delivery partners played in making the celebrations seamless for customers across the country.
