    Significant traffic and security measures for RCB vs CSK match

    3 DCPs, 20 ACPs, 50 inspectors and 1,000 civil police personnel

    Police to maintain order and ease traffic congestion around stadium

Bengaluru is gearing up for the highly anticipated CSK vs RCB match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, prompting significant traffic and security measures.

Led by Additional Commissioner of Police Satish Kumar, security arrangements are extensive, involving three Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), 20 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), and 50 inspectors, supported by 1,000 civil police personnel.

Traffic management is overseen by a Traffic Joint Commissioner of Police, along with two Traffic DCPs and 200 traffic policemen. Restrictions will be in effect from 3 PM to 11 PM, with parking bans enforced on multiple key roads: Queen’s Road, MG Road, Cubbon Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Central Street Road, St. Mark’s Road, Museum Road, Kasturi Ba Road, Ambedkar Veedi, Trinity Circle, Lavelle Road, Vitthal Mallya Road, and Nripatunga Road.

Public parking for match attendees is arranged at St. Joseph’s Indian High School Grounds, UB City Parking Lot, King’s Road within Cubbon Park, and the first floor of the Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand. Additionally, there are designated app-based ride-hailing drop points for Ola and Uber to facilitate smooth traffic flow.

These measures aim to ensure the safety and convenience of both match-goers and the general public, minimizing disruptions during the high-voltage encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The city police are committed to maintaining order and easing traffic congestion around the stadium.
