Commuters who travel regularly via Cubbon Park road, here's news to watch out for. The Bangalore Traffic Police have urged commuters to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and delays during this period.

The white topping project, aimed at improving the road surface, will impact traffic flow along Cubbon Road. As a result, vehicular movement will be prohibited from Safina Plaza Junction to Infantry Road, extending to Commercial Street. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance and utilize alternative routes provided by the police.

For those traveling from Safina Plaza towards Commercial Street, the police have suggested the following detour: Vehicles should proceed along Infantry Road, take a right turn at Lady Curzon Junction, then a left onto Lady Curzon Road. From there, they can proceed to Cubbon Road, followed by K.R. Road, where they will take a left turn at the junction of Cubbon Road. Continuing along Kamaraja Road will lead them to Commercial Street.

Similarly, for vehicles traveling from Main Guard Cross Road or Safina Plaza Junction towards Commercial Street, motorists can take Cubbon Road and, at the junction of K.R. Road and Cubbon Road, make a left turn. This will direct them towards Commercial Street via Kamaraja Road.

The traffic restrictions are expected to cause some inconvenience, especially during peak hours. The Bangalore Traffic Police have emphasized the importance of following these alternative routes to ease traffic flow and ensure a smoother commute. Commuters are advised to stay updated on road conditions and plan accordingly to minimize delays during the construction period.

The white topping work is part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and road quality in the city, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for all road users.
