India is set to take on Netherlands in the final match of the round robin stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in the Chinnaswamy Stadium. “The Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued an advisory in this regard. Please use EXIT B OF CUBBON PARK METRO STATION  which is near Gate No.21 of the Stadium to reach CHINNASWAMY STADIUM and to enter the Metro station from the Stadium. On 12.11.2023 World Cup match is scheduled at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Commuters are advised to avoid the Queens Road, Raj Bhavan road, Kasturba road, MG road, Cubbon road and St.Marks Road,” they stated in their X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

The Bengaluru Police also used the opportunity to send a message pertaining to the importance of following the law. “As the world unites to watch INDvsNED in the spirit of the World Cup, remember: the thrill is in the game, not in crossing the boundaries of the law. Enjoy the match responsibly, play fair, and let the cheers echo loud and clear. In this global celebration of sportsmanship, staying on the right side of the law ensures a victory for everyone,” they stated on their X account.
