The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has officially discontinued the PublicEye app, which was previously used for reporting traffic violations. Announcing the update on X, BTP informed citizens that the app, developed in collaboration with iChangeMyCity is no longer being monitored.

In its place, BTP has introduced the ASTraM app, a newly developed platform designed to integrate multiple traffic related services. The police have urged citizens to download ASTraM, which is available both on Google play store and App store. This new app enables users to report traffic violations, receive real-time traffic updates and make fine payments, providing a more efficient and streamlined experience.

BTP emphasized that this transition to ASTraM ensures continued public participation in traffic management while enhancing digital services for commuters in Bengaluru. “By adopting this new platform, citizens can actively contribute to maintaining order on the roads while benefiting from a more user-friendly system," the police stated in their announcement.
The move aims to simplify traffic monitoring, improve response times, and enhance digital infrastructure for Bengaluru’s growing commuter population. Citizens are encouraged to embrace ASTraM to stay informed and engaged in promoting better traffic discipline in the city.
