The victim, 29-year-old Akshay, a resident of Srinivasanagar, was riding his bike when a large tree limb suddenly snapped and landed directly on him. The impact caused him to lose control of the vehicle, which then collided with a parked car. The force of the collision flung Akshay onto the road, leaving him unconscious and severely injured.

Locals quickly responded and rushed him to the nearby Prashanth Hospital. Due to the critical nature of his head injuries, he was later shifted to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, where he is currently being treated in the ICU.

Akshay, an HR professional working in Rajajinagar, was the sole breadwinner of his family. A year ago, he lost his mother. His father is a dialysis patient, and Akshay had been single-handedly taking care of his treatment. He also managed household chores, including cooking. His sudden hospitalization has left the family shattered.

Outside the hospital, his relatives are seen weeping and pleading for his recovery. "Only God can save our son now," said a tearful family member.
