In a dazzling display of automotive history, the 36th National Road Safety Week saw a vintage car rally that caught the attention of many. Organized annually at the Regional Transport Officers' (RTO) office, this year’s event took place today and featured a memorable rally from the HSR Layout RTO office to Silk Board.

The rally, part of the Variety Vintage Car Rally, was not only a celebration of classic cars but also an important road safety awareness initiative. A wide range of eye-catching vehicles participated, including British cars, American classics, and even vintage models once used by Maharajas. Cars dating back to before 1930 showcased the rich heritage of automobile engineering. Alongside the cars, British bikes also revved up the event, adding to the charm.

The event saw prominent figures such as RTO Secretary Deepak, Karnataka Vintage and Classic Car Club (KVCCC) founder Prithvinath, and Vice President Suresh P taking part in the rally. As the vintage cars cruised down the roads, they drew a crowd, reminding onlookers of the importance of road safety while offering a nostalgic look at the past.

The rally was not only a tribute to the automotive legacy but also reinforced the message of safe driving practices, making it a perfect blend of history and awareness for the public.
