The startup culture of Bengaluru has now expanded its scope beyond Information Technology companies to food outlets as well. In a post that has now gone viral, Vishwas Rawat, a Founding Engineer with ShelfPay, a shared payment application, talked about his encounter with a Vada Pav food outlet owner who was once an architect in a corporate setup. “Met the guy at Zudio, HSR. A day made with a mix of shopping & vada pav bliss! An ex-architect, he left the corporate world to revive vadapav's complete meal charm. Living in Bengaluru is a thrilling ride on the innovation rollercoaster!” Vishwas stated on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

Vishwas had also attached a photo along with his post. A man, presumably the owner of the stall, is holding onto a placard. “I’m not a superhero, but I can save the day with a Vada Pav,” the placard reads.

Vada Pav is a staple food in India’s commercial capital Mumbai. With the expansion of Bengaluru as India’s Silicon Valley, it can be expected that there is some amount of movement to Benngaluru from all parts of India including Mumbai. Several Vada Pav outlets such as Goli Vada Pav have become popular in Bengaluru. Bengalurians also love to experiment with dishes from different parts of the country and the world.
