A plastic warehouse in SP Road which lies in the central region of the silicon city caught fire. The fire which originated on the third floor of the building quickly spread onto the fourth and fifth floor. The intensity of the flames caused cracks to emerge in the building. 

The warehouse consisted of toys for children and other electronic items. Officials of the fire department are putting in a lot of effort to douse the fire. Five fire engines have been dispatched to the spot for this purpose. The efforts are still underway. 

The localities are enraged at the carelessness of the fire extinguishing unit. This is due to the fact that when they were contacted after fire was seen on the third floor, they reportedly did not turn up for more than an hour. After this delay they stated that there is a lack of availability of water. Eventually the fire spread onto the fourth floor. 

The officials of the fire department are faced with a multitude of challenges. They are actively working to keep people away from the site wherein their operations are underway. They are keeping a vigilant watch for this purpose.
