In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly murdered by her husband due to a dispute arising over giving birth to children. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Girija hailing from the Bhatkal district of Karnataka. Girija is reported to have been suffocated to death. The incident occurred in Annasandra falling under the jurisdiction of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Police Station. 

Girija and Naveen got married eight months back. Girija suffered from miscarriage. On this account, Girija argued that childbirth can wait for the time being. This was a recurrent theme for the fight between the two. Girija was suffocated to death while she was asleep. The incident occurred on April 12th. Naveen worked for a pickle making factory. He has been apprehended by the police. A case pertaining to murder has been registered in the HAL Police Station.

Girija worked in a garment factory. The two of them are said to have fallen in love before getting married. Girija supposedly complained to her family about torture from Naveen. He is believed to have denied her food and thrown her out of the house on multiple occasions. Family members of Girija are pressing for strict action against Naveen.
