In a bizarre turn of events, a woman from Nelamangala, Bengaluru, has landed in legal trouble after marrying another man without divorcing her first husband. Netravati, who married Ramesh 13 years ago, reportedly left him and their child to elope with a man she met on Instagram.

Ramesh, a driver by profession, had been living with Netravati in Raghavendranagar, Nelamangala, for the past three years. The trouble began when Netravati started chatting with a man named Santosh on social media. After just two weeks of conversation, she allegedly left her husband, handed him their child, and escaped with Santosh.

The matter came to light when Ramesh was shocked to see a video of Netravati’s wedding with Santosh posted on Instagram. Disturbed and confused, Ramesh filed a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) at the Nelamangala Town police station. Police summoned Netravati for questioning regarding the legality of the second marriage.

During interrogation, it was revealed that Netravati had not obtained a legal divorce from Ramesh before marrying Santosh. Police stated that the second marriage holds no legal validity in the absence of a divorce. Netravati has reportedly assured police that she will initiate divorce proceedings soon.

Meanwhile, she has taken custody of her child and is living with Santosh, as the investigation continues.
