Naina, who had been searching for a house for months, came across an apartment she described as “really pretty.” While initial interactions with the existing tenants seemed promising, she was ultimately rejected because they deemed her too young. Frustrated but determined, she crafted a detailed PPT listing her merits, which included being a non-smoker, non-drinker, and having a preference for non-interference in housemates' lives.

She shared her experience in a video on X (formerly Twitter), apologizing for previously mocking millennials, as she now faced age-related discrimination herself. The video, which showcased her slideshow in an effort to find a new flat, gained widespread attention online.
Though some viewers appreciated her creativity and determination, the post also attracted trolling. Many users poked fun at her persistence, while others joked about her long-standing apartment hunt.
Despite the mixed reactions, Naina’s story highlights the challenges of securing housing in Bengaluru’s competitive rental market and the biases renters often encounter.
