A 24-year-old woman lost her life after falling from the 13th floor of an under-construction building in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara area in a tragic incident reportedly linked to filming an Instagram reel. The woman, identified as Nandini, had visited the site with a group of friends late at night for a party.

According to police investigations, the group had consumed alcohol during the gathering. A heated argument reportedly broke out among them, allegedly related to a personal relationship issue. Following the dispute, Nandini is believed to have gone to the terrace of the building alone to record a video reel, described by authorities as emotionally driven.
While attempting to film the reel, she accidentally fell into an open lift shaft space from the 13th floor, leading to her death. Her friends, who were present at the scene, reportedly fled the location immediately after the incident.
Police arrived at the site and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. A case has been registered under the Unnatural Death Report (UDR), and officials are currently reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to the people involved to determine the exact sequence of events.
The under-construction building had inadequate safety measures, raising further concerns about the risks associated with unauthorized access to such high-rise sites, especially during late-night gatherings.
