Bengaluru woman held after husband dies after heated argument with her

A 42-year-old woman from Bengaluru has been arrested after her husband, 45-year-old Bhaskar died during a domestic dispute at their home in Suddaguntepalya. The incident occurred on July 5 following a heated argument between the couple.

According to the police, Bhaskar and his wife had a troubled relationship and often fought. Bhaskar had reportedly moved out of their home and was in a relationship with another woman. He only visited occasionally to meet his wife and their two children. On the day of the incident, an argument broke out when he came home. In the heat of the moment, the woman allegedly hit Bhaskar with a wooden object during the fight. He collapsed shortly after and died.

Following the incident, the woman surrendered to the police and has been taken into custody. A case of “culpable homicide not amounting to murder” has been registered. Police believe there was no clear intention to kill, but the situation escalated suddenly and led to an unexpected tragedy.

The police are currently awaiting the post-mortem report to confirm the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, their children are being looked after by relatives.

Neighbours said that the couple often argued, but no one expected such a tragic end. The case serves as a reminder of how unresolved personal conflicts can lead to heartbreaking consequences when emotions spiral out of control.
