The tragic event came to light when Navyashree’s friend, Aishwarya, who had stayed over at her home that night, discovered her lifeless body early Wednesday morning. According to a police statement, Aishwarya reported that Navyashree had contacted her on Tuesday morning, expressing distress over her marriage and asking her to come over for support.
Aishwarya arrived at Navyashree’s home in SMV Layout around 4:30 PM, and they were later joined by another friend, Anil. The three discussed Navyashree’s marital issues over dinner, with Anil advising her to file a police complaint against her husband.
